The Texas Cotton Association Flow Marketing Meeting is scheduled during COTTON WEEK in Lubbock, Texas on September 12-13, 2018!

The on-site registration desk will be open at 6:00 p.m., for those that have not already registered online at www.tca-cotton.org. The COTTON FLOW RECEPTION will begin at 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., on September 12, 2018. The next morning, the FLOW MEETING (timeTBD) with a seated breakfast featuring pertinent topics relative to our trade, focusing on specific dliemmas and solutions we face as an industry in flowing our cotton to market. We are facing a HUGE challenge as the prospects of shipping more and more cotton in the U.S. has been forecasted and our competitors are gaining market share and are more efficient in delivering the product. At the June 25, 2018, meeting of the Texas Cotton Ginners Association and Texas Independent Ginners Association, Joe Nicosia, Senior Head, Cotton and Merchandising Platforms, of Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Cordova, Tennessee, commented in his speech, "All cotton segments are a part of the same company. How would a great company react if its marketing team, sales force, customer service department, logistic and execution departments were told that the delivery of their product was the worst in the world? This is our situation today. We are losing our share."  Let's meet and make this year the year to formulate actual solutions that will keep all of us employed by one of the best companies in the world; the Texas Cotton Industry!
