It's happening May 29, 30 & 31, 2024, at the 405 acre wilderness escape at the Texas Hill country Resort, Hyatt Lost Pines Resort & Spa, just a short 20 minute trip from the Austin-Bergstrom International airport. Experience the great outdoors with horseback trail rides, hiking along 18 miles of trails, trap shooting, pony rides, archery, fishing, s'mores roasted nightly at outdoor fire pits, and more! Back at the Ranch, we will enjoy fun networking opportunities and productive meetings! The TCA Triathlon 2nd event winners in First, Second & Third place will be posted in the TCA office at 4:00 p.m., May 29, 2024! YOUR golf skills will be challenged at the TCA DALCOT, to be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, 1:00 p.m., shot gun start, at the resort's golf club onsite, an 18 hole championship golf course. "Featuring three different settings within the Texas wilderness, the course is surrounded by rolling prairies, wooded ridgelines, and native pecan trees offering a true Texas golfing experience", during the final 3rd event of the TCA Triathlon 2024! On Thursday morning, May 30, 2024, we will polish our current policy after the committees have been working well in advance to formulate the best blueprint to bring forward for final adoption. We anticipate several transportation providers to be in attendance during the Transportation Committee Meeting as we summit to better coordinate and communicate what we need from each other to flow cotton more orderly and efficiently. Later Thursday night, our annual reunion of transportation suppliers and merchants will gather at the TRANSPORTATION RECEPTION prior to the STEPHENSON PRESIDENTIAL DINNER and entertainment by “BARFIELD, THE TYRANT OF FUNK”! On Friday, during the General Session, The TCA Presidential Address will be given by BEAU STEPHENSON, TCA PRESIDENT, followed by an ACSA update by ACSA CEO and PRESIDENT, BUDDY ALLEN. Our Keynote speaker this year is ASSISTANT COMMiSSIONER OF AGRICULTURE for Communications, Trade and Business Development. The TRIATHLON AWARDS featuring the COTTON CUP winner will follow. We will advise updates to our program as more information is forthcoming. Immediately following the General Session, the Executive Session of Merchant & Primary Marketing members only, will meet to install the new president, elect the new board of directors and adopt policy resolutions. It is imperative if you are a voting merchant or primary marketing member that you make travel plans to attend or designate at least one from your firm to be present to adopt new policy! Immediately following the Executive Session, the newly elected board of directors will meet. We encourage all attendees to check-in on Tuesday night, May 28, 2024, to get a head-start on networking and prepare for the activities over the next three days! We expect the General Session to conclude by noon and the Executive Session to conclude by 1:00 p.m. The new board can anticipate adjournment by 2:00 p.m., at the latest.
