The 100th Anniversary Convention of the Texas Cotton Association will be held in Austin, Texas at the beautiful Hyatt Lost Pines Resort & Spa, on April 19, 20 & 21, 2011!

The Texas Cotton Association. Proud Legend. Promising Future.

T C A ... 100 years ago these three letters were embossed in gold on black leather briefcases carried by the men who pioneered this Association. They carried a mission to unify a merchant community statewide, to represent cotton policy in our state legislature and in the US Congress, and to develop strong alliances with customers abroad. Because of their grit and determination, they built a legend of trade that is our past, present and future. In Texas, our land offered hope and promise, and the cotton seed grew in our rich, fertile soil and became a vibrant and dynamic cotton industry.

A century later, as the T.C.A. celebrates its 100-year anniversary, Texas cotton leads the nation in production. We grow more proud as our cotton continues to become more promising as a world leader in cotton production. Without a doubt, you can count on Texas to provide whatever cotton the world needs.

The past century has been a century of change, a century of success and a century of great promise and huge accomplishment. But as impressive as our past is, it is not as exciting as our future. And just like those early pioneers, our mission is to build on our past with pride and to look forward to a promising new century of progress.
