Convention 2016

The Texas Cotton Association President Rick Stone announces ~

“COTTON COMES TO COWTOWN” on April 13, 14 & 15, 2016!  The site of this year’s 105th Annual Convention will be “The Star of Texas”, The Worthington Renaissance Hotel, and Fort Worth’s original AAA Four-Diamond luxury hotel. Situated in the heart of Downtown in historic Sundance Square, The Worthington is located at 200 Main Street, Fort Worth, Texas, 76102, 817.870.1000. Along the Trinity River on the Old Chisholm Trail, Fort Worth was established as a trading center for cattle, earning the nickname “COWTOWN”, during an era when cotton and cattle were the common currency. We have selected “COWTOWN” to celebrate the heritage of cotton trading in Texas.
