Convention 2015

TCA President David Edwards cordially invites you to attend the 104th Annual Convention, on April 22, 23, & 24, 2015, at HOTEL CONTESSA, located on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, at 306 W. Market Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78205, 210.229.9222. We have selected San Antonio, located deep in the heart of Texas, to be the site of this year's convention! TEXAS COTTON will be deep in the heart of the program!

The creation of the great state of Texas began at the Alamo in San Antonio in 1836. Courageous men lost their lives in pursuit of Texas liberty. Like the Alamo, The Texas Cotton Association is also a creation story. It was the first chapter in the genesis of organized rules for merchants. Founders of our organization established a Constitution of By-Laws,Trade Rules and an autonomous and equitable arbitration system. Our rules are independent and have established an ethical code of self-government designed to protect the rights of members trading cotton in the Texas territory since 1911.

San Antonio is located DEEP IN THE HEARTof TEXAS and TEXAS COTTON is DEEP IN THE
HEARTof TEXAS agriculture. Cash receipts are second only to beef in Texas, providing over1 billion dollars to our state's economy every year, and ranking #1 in U.S. cotton production. TCA members are proud to handle Texas cotton. TCA members have established a solid reputation at home and abroad. In TEXAS, we believe that pride in one's state, and in our TEXAS COTTON crop, is a gift given to us from our predecessors and it needs to be preserved and passed on. We love TEXAS and we love TEXAS COTTON. We hope that you will join us on the Riverwalk, deep in the heart of Texas!
