South
Padre Island offers a wide range of activities, including
just about everything you can imagine doing at a beach resort.
There are fishing, boating, parasailing, golf, tennis, beachside
horseback riding and dune buggies, day cruises for dolphin
watching or gambling, and plenty of shopping. There are
restaurants throughout the island that are sure to suit
every taste. In addition, if you feel a little adventurous
the Mexican border is minutes away and you can shop the
bargains in Matamoros. To top it all off, you can just sit
back, relax, and enjoy the scenery while "The Wave"
trolley driver takes you on a free ride around town.
